Composing is as varied as it is innovative, encompassing everything from jazz to electronica, dance to film score, rock to baroque. He graduated with a major in composition from Leeds University in 2003, finishing top of his year with the only Class 1 standard degree to be awarded, and since, Paul’s unrelenting work ethic and attention to detail has been matched only by his sense of musical style and nonconformist approach.

At the age of just 24, he has commissioned experience from a wealth of international brands, TV networks, channels and production companies. These include the BBC, ITV, Ch4, Ch5 (The Farm), MTV, Tele5 (Spain), TF1 (France), The Audi Channel, NED2 (Holland), Discovery Channel (UK & Worldwide), Initial, Leopard Films, Nickelodeon, SKY and UEFA. He has also amassed a large catalogue of commissions having worked for virtually all of the top international advertising agencies (Saatchi & Saatchi, Grey, JWT, Leo Burnett, BBH, AMV BBDO, Ogilvy etc) for brand advertising as diverse as BMW, Guinness, Carlsberg, Samsung, BT, Levis and HSBC.

Recently, Paul has delivered the epic music and sound-design soundtrack for the short film ‘Firsts’ charting the innovative history of Mercedes-Benz, currently playing every ten minutes at the brand new state of the art cinema at Mercedes World, set at the historic Brooklands race course site in Surrey. Paul also provided a score for the cinematic feature film trailer of ‘Pride & Prejudice’ starring Keira Knightley and Dame Judi Dench, alongside producing sound design, music and Foley for the promotional cinema film celebrating the new world’s tallest building in Dubai.

As a session guitarist and bass player, Paul has worked for Virgin Radio, Independiente Records, Music4/V-The Production Library, Galaxy 105 Radio, Aphex Guitar and Bass pedals/Lexicon studio outboard (the NEC National Music Show), Budweiser, and the West Yorkshire Playhouse and has toured France, Germany, Belgium, Holland and the UK extensively with various bands and artists.
